Annexin A1 is a member of the annexin family of calcium-dependent phospholipids-binding proteins,which is expressed extensively in most tissues,and takes part in the stage of cell cycle.Studies have shown that expression of Anneixn A1 is different from various tumor tissue types.Even in the same tumor type from different tissues,the discrepancy is obvious.The abnormal expression of Annexin A1 and the changes of its location may be relevant with differentiation and metastasis of malignant tumors.It is possible that Annexin A1 will become a new biomarker for the diagnosis and prognosis of tumor,thus providing novel potential diagnosis strategies for malignant tumours.
