Take the high-tech digital camera R＆D project as a case, the paper discusses the theories and methods for the technical risk identification and evaluation. Utilizing the Work Breakdown Structure （WBS） of the project, the technical risks of the digital camera R＆D project are identified. With Analytic Hierarchy Process （AHP） and fuzzy synthetic evaluation method, the probability and effect of the technical risks of the new product R＆D project are analyzed and calculated.
