30 Angus and 30 Hereford and 28 Chinese Simmental cattles with an average body weight of 150 kg were used in this study to determine the normal values of some carcass traits.The results showed that the eye muscle area in Angus cattles were higher（P0.05）with Hereford cattles;the eyes meat weight in Hereford Cattles were higher（P0.05） with Chinese Simmental cattlest,he backfat thickness weight in Angus and Hereford cattles were higher（P0.01）with Chinese Simmental cattles（P0.01）,and the backfat thickness was not significantly related between the Angus cattles and the Hereford cattles（P0.05）.
