β-乳球蛋白(β-Lactoglobulin,β-LG)是脂质运载蛋白家族成员之一,具有结合脂溶性维生素、脂肪酸及多酚类化合物等疏水小分子的能力。β-LG与活性配体结合成β-LG-配体复合物后,能显著提高配体的生物利用度。综述了β-LG与配体的结合位点,讨论了所形成的β-LG-配体复合物对配体和载体的作用并对研究趋势进行展望。
β-lactoglobulin, a member of the lipocalin family, possesses the ability to bind small hydrophobic molecules, such as vitamins, fatty acids and polyphenols. After binding with bioactive ligands, β-LG may improve the bioavailability of ligands significantly. This paper introduced the binding sites of β-LG while binding different ligands, the interacted effect between β-LG and its binding ligands, and the development trends of the carrier role of β-LG.
