In recent years, a series of golden artifacts were unearthed from Nagarze, Central Tibet. However, there are different opinions on their date and ethnicity until now. Some insisted they could be dated to 2nd -Sth AD, but the others argued they were from Tubo period (Tth - 9th century). Based on comparative study with Xianbei gold from northern China, this article proposes that these unearthed historical relics could be connected with Tuyuhun who were active nomads in northern frontier of Tibet during 4th-6th century. The similarity of style and technology hint us that the interaction between heartland of Tubo with its far northern frontier could be traced back to earlier period called "Xiao Bang Preiod".
