This paper introduces the adjustments and implementations of the studio course of community center design for sophomores at the School of Architecture at Southeast University.The fundamental change lies in the shift of perspective from individual buildings to a much larger and more complex urban environment.The teaching program encourages students to investigate,observe,think and recognize current problems confronting the city and the community through integration of various disciplines.It also seeks to improve environmental qualities and energize different groups of people as a result of the program.
