Low poly（lactic acid）（3） in yield of 93.0% was prepared from D,L-lactic acid（2） by new method using glycerol（1） to control the molecular weight and distributon of molecular weight.The structure was confirmed by MS.The optimum reaction conditions at（150～160 ℃/（0.5～3.0） kPa for 20 h were as follows：2 was 141.5 mol,n（2）：n（1） was 30.Depilations performance of 3 and its mixture 4[m（3）：m（CaCO3）：m（epoxidized soybean oil）=100：15：3] on poultry were first investigated.The results showed that 3 and 4 exhibited good depilations performance.
