Polymer surface is dynamic surface with temperature and cnvironmcntal responses. The polymeric surface has capacity to modify its structure in contact with the surrounding medium, the polymer will auain an equilibrium state corresponding to a minimal interracial free energy between the two medium. This paper reviews surface reeonstruetion behaviors, development of research techniques in the field of surface reconstruction, reconstruction mechanism, influence of polymer structure, and so on.
