为了给城市道路交叉口的通行能力计算和服务水平划分打基础,研究了车辆换算系数的计算方法,并对城市道路车型进行了重新划分,将其划分为小、中、大三种车型。采用实地调查的方法对城市道路车型构成进行分析,确定小型车为城市道路交叉口车辆换算系数研究的标准车型。采用改进的车头时距法对城市道路信号交叉口左、直、右三种流向的车辆划算系数进行研究,得到左、直、右三种流向小型车、中型车、大型车的换算系数值分别为1.00、1.50、2.04,1.00、1.33、1.81和1.00、1.40、1.96。研究表明,左、直、右三种流向中,小型车、中型车和大型车的换算系数值依次增大,而且由于车辆转向时车辆长度、动力性能等的影响,左转、右转车流中中型车和大型车的换算系数值比直行流向大。
In order to lay a foundation for capacity calculation and level of service analysis, the calculation methods of vehicle conversion factor were studied, and the vehicles on urban roads were divided into three types, namely small, middle and large vehicles. By means of field survey on urban road intersections, the vehicle type composition proportions were analyzed, and the small vehicles were taken as the standard vehicle type. Then the improved time headway method was applied to calculate the vehicle conversion factor on leftturn, through, and right - turn directions on urban road signalized intersections, and the vehicle conversion factor values of small, middle, and large vehicles on the three directions were obtained, it is 1, 1.50, and 2.04, 1, 1.33, and 1.81, and 1, 1.40, and 1.96, respectively. Research results indicate that the vehicle conversion factor values of small, middle, and large vehicles increases gradually on each direction, and the vehicle conversion factor values of middle and large vehicles on left - turn and right - turn directions are bigger than the values on through direction.
