由于交通流激增或交通事故这类交通突变现象会导致交通拥挤。在交通流控制中,传统的交通流理论以二维空间为基础对连续交通流进行分析,难以解释交通流突变现象。突变理论可从多维空间对非连续的交通流突变现象予以合理解释,成为交通流理论研究的重点之一。本文介绍了突变理论的基本内容、国内外应用突变理论对交通流进行分析的研究现状,并对其应用的前景进行了展望。
Because of the sudden increase in traffic flow and traffic accident, such mutations can cause traffic congestion. In traffic flow control ,the traditional traffic flow theory is based on two dimensional space to analyze the continuous traffic flow, it is difficult to explain the phenomenon of traffic flow breakdown. The catastrophe theory can explain the phenomenon of non continuous traffic flow from the multi dimension space, which is one of the important theories of traffic flow. This paper introduces the catastrophe theory, summarizes the research status of the application of catastrophe theory to solve the traffic flow analysis at home and abroad, and looks forward to the prospect of the catastrophe theory application.
