英文摘要：

Peripheral arterial disease（PAD）,a form of arteriostenosis,is induced by aggravation of distal limb arteriosclerosis. It is an in-dicator of cardiac and cerebral artery atherosclerosis as well as a bench mark for systemic atherosclerosis. The morbidity of peripheral ar-terial disease in type 2 diabetic patients is significantly increased. PAD is a typical diabetic ischemic vascular disease. Increasing evi-dence from various experimental models has indicated that blood-activating and stasis-removing Chinese medicine may be effective for ischemic injury repair of peripheral arterial disease. Therefore,various databases were searched and basic science and clinical literatures were analyzed in this field. The comprehensive review is aimed at providing good research ideas and methods to treat diabetic peripheral artery disease by using blood-activating and stasis-removing Chinese medicine.
