In this parper the latest progress of five methods of preparing β-amino acids,including chemical resolution,chiral chromatograph separation,Amdt-Eistert reaction,asymmetric synthesis and enzyme catalytic synthesis,especially the rapid development of asymmetric synthesis and enzymaric catalytic synthesis in recent years,were reviewed with 90 references.
