As a novel functional material, magnetic polymeric microspheres offer high potential application in various field, particularly in biomedical and bioengineering field. In this review, we summarized the more recent development of synthesis and application of magnetic polymeric microspheres as well as prospected future synthesis and application of magnetic polymeric microspheres.
