Based on the monitoring of a high slope＇ s anchor cable prestress, the rapid decay stage, slow loss stage and stable stage of the anchor cable prestress are discussed here, and then the main causes of each stage are analyzed. On this basis, the safety factor as a function of time is built to predict the long-term stability of slope. By doing this, the reliable reference data could be provided for actual projects, which would have important theoretical significance and engineering significance.
