目的探索B型超声图像的自适应时间增益补偿算法。方法提出改进的综合法(hybrid)预测组织局部衰减系数,通过获取自适应增益补偿曲线,实现B型超声图像的自适应时间增益补偿。结果与传统的时间增益补偿(TGC)相比,所提出的方法能够获得更有效的B型超声图像亮度补偿,在不增加超声诊断仪电路复杂度的情况下,提高了图像质量,从而降低了后继如图像分割等图像分析方法的难度。结论本方法能准确地预测超声通过组织的衰减,获得更好的衰减补偿效果。
Objective To investigate a novel adaptive time gain compensation method for B-mode ultrasound imaging. Methods Amodified hybrid method was firstly proposed to estimate the local attenuation coefficient of biomedical tissues. The adaptive time gain compensation curve was then obtained based on the local attenuation estimation. A B-mode ultrasound imaging with the adaptive time gain compensation was finally achieved. Results Compared with the traditional time gain compensation( TGC),this method considerably improve the effect of the time gain compensation without complicating the circuit of the ultrasound imaging equipment. The proposed method improved the image quality and thus decreased the complexity of the following image analysis such as image segmentation. Conclusion The proposed method can accurately estimate the acoustic attenuation through tissues and achieve a better compensation performance.
