在新型的以学生为主体的教学模式下，自主学习在大学英语学习中起着极其重要的作用。自我评估是评价语言交际能力的一种有效手段。本文在自主学习和自我评估的理论基础上，初步探讨了如何从学习观念，学习计划，学习方法和学习效果几个方面进行自我评估来培养学生的自主学习能力。

Under the new-style teaching mode which is student-oriented, self-education plays a very important role in college English study. Self-evaluation is an available way to assess language communicative ability. The paper based on self-education and self-evaluation theroy to discuss how to foster students＇ self-education ability from the aspects of study notion, study plans, study ways and study effects.
