The practices of Chinese revolution, construction and reform have been essentially the creation and fulfillment of socialist values. The thoughts of Mao and Deng on socialist values have not only connected with each other historically in practice, but also had inner logical relationship with each other in their deep meanings. Deng Xiaoping Socialist Values Thought insisted and developed the value orientation of taking Chinese people as the subject and making benefits for Chi- nese people, inherited the value essence of seeking truth from facts, inherited and transcended the value aims, and finally reflected and adjusted value fulfillment methods.
