To solve out the problems in military information system operation and maintenance like complicated management contents,imperfect management system,lagging management method and lack of talents,the paper studies on the military information system operation and maintenance. To ensure the sustainable,safe and stable operation of military information system and to improve the system lagging behind the military information construction,based on the analysis on the status and issues of system operation and maintenance,the paper proposes several countermeasures including building up an efficient system operation and maintenance team,establishing a complete management system,constructing a unified support platform and forming a system for risk management and emer-gency management.
