The advancement of industrialization has been conflicting with environmental preservation, so we must follow a new path of industrialization under the guidance of ecological civilization. The strategy of ecological civilization has called for higher requirements for new industrialization. This means we should devote our efforts to raise the level of resources and environment production, improve the carrying capacity of resources and the environment, and advance resources and environment coordinating development. On this basis, China should use the experience and technology of post-industrial countries and regions for reference; devote major efforts to promote scientific and technological progress so as to enhance economic efficiency on one hand. On the other hand, we should reduce the negative impact that industrialization produced on the resources and environment, vigorously develop green economy and circular economy and low-carbon technologies.
