Using dispersion compensation chirped Fiber Bragg Grating (CBG), 2500km-10Gbps transmission system on G.652 fiber is successfully demonstrated without electric regenerator. The CBG has the perfect performance: The group delay ripple is small (about±15ps), the group delay is large(about 2600ps/nm), and the insertion loss is low (only 4dBm). The system has 12 wavelength channels. The channel space is 0.8 nm (100 GHz), according to the wavelength standard (in C band) of the ITU- T suggestion. At 2060km in the system, power penalty is about 2dBm (condition: NRZ, BER=10^12, PRBS=10^23-1); At 2530km, Bit Error Ratio (BER) is free with high power penalty. However, the result is superior to the system using Dispersion Compensation Fiber (DCF) under the same condition.
