It presents a method to measure refractive index According to the optical law of refraction. Measuring the refractive index of a pure water in the first place,and compare the literature value,to verify the correctness of the method. As an application,the different concentrations of sodium chloride solution were measured,sucrose solution,ethanol solution and mixed solution of equivalent refractive index,and draw the relationship between refractive index and solution concentration change of equivalent curve,and pointed out the solution of concentration of large refractive index not big.
