ArcGIS Engine is a typical representative of secondary development of embedded GIS. A query information system is established by using the development technology of embedded GIS and various kinds of spatial information. This paper focuses on the system development procedure and functions, and discusses, with the design of Ganzhou ground object inquiry information system as the case, the system function design and realization.
