Synthetically considering the importance of the materials and the competition ability of the vendor, a multifactor classified matrix model can be built after combining the ABC classification and the complication of the supply market. A multifactor inventory management strategy has been suggested. And the materials are classified, then corresponding inventory strategy is selected according to the different features of the materials. It leads to a lower cost, and resources can be more effectively used. The model is proved through a case.
