With the rapid development of science and technology,novel materials continue come out.Among them,nitrogen-doped carbon-based nanomaterials is a kind of new inorganic non-metallic materials with potential application values.Because of diverse structures,morphologies and excellent properties,they have become a hot research topic in the field of materials.The classification and preparation of novel nitrogen-doped carbon-based nanomaterials,and application in catalysis,electrochemistry,adsorption and other fields were reviewed.The problems in practical application and possible future prospect of development were discussed.
