Process intensification has become the research focus in recent years. The high gravity technology is one new way for process intesification. This review summarized the researches on the stuetures of bulk and structured packings for high gravity field, and discussed their hydrodynamics and mass transfer properties. Compared with bulk packings, structured packings will be the dircction of future research and development.
