　Cyclic voltammetry（CV）was used to investigate the electrochemical behavior of N-methylimidazole derivatives.The electroreduction process was monitored by in situ UV spectroscopy,a few new absorbance were observed with increase of polarization potential,and the mechanism of electroreduction for the N-methylimidazole derivatives was discussed.
