Based on the shear rheological experimental result of shale obtained by rock shear rheometers, the long-term strength parameters (long-term cohesion and long-term internal friction coefficient) of rocks were obtained by Coulomb criteria. The comparison of the long-term strength parameters with the instant ones shows that the sensitivity of cohesion of rocks to time is higher than that of internal friction coefficient. A plastic component with consideration of the variation of cohesion and internal friction coefficient was put forward. By its parallel connection with the linear viscous component, a new nonlinear visco-plastic body (CF-NVPB) with consideration of cohesion and internal friction coefficient was obtained. Meanwhile, by series connection of CF-NVPB model with three-component linear visco-elastic rheological model, a new nonlinear visco-elasto-plastic rheological model with consideration of cohesion and internal friction coefficient was established, and its creep equation and relaxation equation were deduced.
