With the form, a comparative application of the tools on Arc GIS Geographic Information System study of ruined sites of Koguryo and Bohai in the east of Jilin ince is made herein to analyze the differences concerning the site locations and types, Plat- Prov- and the similarities concerning the site elevations, gradients, aspects and river buffer areas. The main factors that affect the site locations are the administrative divisions at two historical periods, and those that affect the site types are the funeral customs, the cultural back grounds and the production patterns during the specific periods.
