In the recent decades,the development of the synthesis of 3,4-dihydropyrimidin-2-ones by one-pot three-component condensation reaction of ethyl acetoacetate,benzaldehyde and urea was summarized,which in-volves microwave irradiation,ultrasonic method,immobilized catalyst and heating reflow method.
