Alzheimer's disease (AD) and vascular dementia (~D) are two types of independent substantial brain disease, often difficult to differentiate in clinical work, and there is no unified standard in the world to identify these two diseases. Patients with AD have weaker memory and language expression ability than VD patients, but attention degree of damage is more serious in VD than in AD, and with more differences for values of blood sugar, blood lipids and blood vessels, MRI, and the brain waves between AD and VD. This paper will focus on the identification of two kinds of diseases and its clinical application value.
