目的：明确足三里对癫痫的治疗作用,为针刺治疗癫痫提供理论依据和支撑。方法：以＂三里＂、＂下陵＂、＂鬼邪＂作为主检索词,采用计算机和手工相结合的检索方式从《中华医典·针灸推拿灸》中检索出与足三里主治病症相关的文献条文;再以＂癫痫＂或者癫痫的其他别名作为次检索词,并根据文献的纳入和排除标准,检索出与治疗癫痫相关的文献条文。最后借助于Microsoft excel数据库进行统计学分析。结果：共检索出与足三里相关且具有明确主治病症的古籍37本,检索出相关条文1718条,其中足三里单穴治疗相关病症的条文478条,足三里与其它腧穴配伍治疗相关病症的条文1240条;治疗癫痫病症相关的条文8条;直接以＂足三里＂作为检索词,共检出具有明确主治功效的条文218条,其中与癫痫相关条文2条。结论：足三里穴具有治疗癫痫的作用,且多以配穴治疗为主;在治疗方法上多以灸法为主,辅以针刺、刺血等其他疗法。

英文摘要：

Objective： To identify Zusanli（ ST36） in the treatment of epilepsy and provide theoretical foundation and support for treatment of epilepsy. Methods： Use Chinese Medical Classics,Massage,Acupuncture and Moxibustion as our database source. Sanli,Xialing and Guixie were as the key words. Use the computer and artificial combination to retrieve the relevant provisions of acupuncture at Zusanli（ ST36） and then use epilepsy or other aliases as a secondary keyword,according to the literature＇s inclusion and exclusion criteria,provisions and retrieve literature related to the treatment of epilepsy and finally,by means of Microsoft excel database for statistical analysis. Results： Totally 37 relevant books of Zusanli（ ST36） and relevant provisions 1718 were searched out,in which 478 pieces of related literature about Zusanli（ ST36） single in the treatment and 1240 pieces of related literature about Zusanli（ ST36） and other acupoints compatibility. There were 8 pieces of related literuatre about treatment of epilepsy disease. Zusanli（ ST36） as the direct keyword,we got 218 provisions with clear indications,in which 2 were associated with epilepsy. Conclusion： Acupuncture at Zusanli（ ST36） can treat epilepsy and is mainly based on other acupoints compatibility. The treatment is mainly with moxibustion,supplemented by acupuncture,pricking blood and other therapies.
