Treatment of Alzheimer＇s disease（AD） by reinforcing kidney essence under the theoretical guidance of the life essence in kidney,Has been used for thousands of years.Recently,researchers studied the effects on treating AD by reinforcing kidney essence and it＇s mechanism and received many valuable results.This paper summarizes the modern pharmacological and clinical researchs on treating AD by reinforcing kidney essence.
