The research of sedimentary facies in the Forth Dengying group on central of Sichuan basin are based on core, logging and thin slice, when combined with geological background and previous research results. The rocksin the Gaoshiti-Moxi area cover granular dolomite. Others are algal-bearing granular dolomite, algal-layered dolomite, laminated dolostone, clastic dolostone. Granulite facies, including granular dolomite facies, algal dolomitic facies are all dominated. The Forth Dengying group in the study area are restricted in platform facies sediment and platform margin sediment, which can be further divided into platform margin beach, including platform banks, beach interact sea and lagoon.
