正如《说文》“爻,交也”这一释义所指,以“爻”为元符的《周易》实质上指向了阴阳之交,并且《周易》的“近取诸身”的致思方式又决定了,这种阴阳之交最终体现为人类的“男女之交”.这种“男女之交”隐含着一切人际交往的历史和逻辑上的真正隐秘,也使一种亦社会亦自然的“生命交往”方式得以确立,并最终易、礼相通地使《周礼》中礼物“象征性交换”之旨大白于世.因此,《周礼》的“礼尚往来”与其说是一种抽象的物的属性的交往,不如说是一种具体的人的生命的交往.
just as the definition in Shuo Wen, "Yao", regarded as the original sign in Zhou Yi, actually refers to the exchange of Yin and Yang. The thinking mode of "taking from the body" in Zhou Yi determines that the exchange of Yin and Yang is ultimately expressed as human copulation which is the genuine secret behind all interpersonal relationships historically and logically, and also establishes the pattern of"life interaction" both socially and naturally. In addition, itreveals the decree of "symbolic exchange", characterized by exchanging gifts in Zhou Li through intercourse of Yi and Li . Therefore, "reciprocity" of Zhou Li is not. so much an abstract and physical attribute as a specific intercourse of human's life.
