对河北师范大学的前身之一河北省立女子师范学院在抗日战争时期并入国立西安临时大学，成为其四校一院的重要组成部分作首次考证分析，并试图理清其西迁办学经过、专业系科设置、主要教师与其学术活动等历史事实。研究表明，在齐壁亭（1883-1968）、王非曼（1897-1977）等人的共同努力下，秉承兴学救国、保存文化火种的理念，将富有特色的河北省立女子师范学院西迁并入国立西安临时大学，从而注入西北高等教育新的教育元素，同时也保存了中国女子师范教育的根脉，成为战时高等教育的重要篇章之一。
英文摘要：
As a member of Xi＇an National Temporary University＇s four universities and one college, Hebei Provincial Women＇s Normal College is one of the predecessors of Hebei Normal University. During the Anti Japanese War period, it moved west to merge into Xi＇an National Temporary University. After the research of the experience, programs, teachers and academic activities of Hebei Provincial Women＇s Normal College by analyzing relevant information, this paper has reached the following conclusions. With the idea of saving the nation and preserving the cultural flame, through the joint efforts of Qi Biting（1883-1968） Wang Feiman（1897-1977） and others, it reorganised Hebei Provincial Women＇s College into Xi＇an National Temporary University to inject new elements of education into the northwest higher education. At the same time, the precious roots of Chinese women＇s normal education was preserved and it became one of the significant chapters of higher education in the wartime
