目的:探讨人脑胶质瘤中β-catenin的表达及与细胞增殖的相关性。方法:用免疫组化法观察了47例胶质瘤标本β-catenin、cyclin D1、增殖细胞核抗原(PCNA)的表达,并分析其相关性。结果:在胶质瘤中β-catenin、cyclin D1、PCNA均随肿瘤恶性程度增高而增高(P分别为0.017、0.017、0.027),相关分析发现β-catenin、cyclin D1、PCNA的表达两两相关(P〈0.001,P〈0.001和P=0.005):结论:β—catenin表达水平的异常与胶质瘤细胞周期调节紊乱、增殖指数上升有关,因此可能是控制肿瘤细胞增殖活性的候选基因之一。
Aim: To study the expression of β-catenin and correlate with cell proliferation in human gliomas. Methods: Immunohistochemical study was used to detect β-catenin, cyclin D1 and PCNA expression in 47 glioma samples. Results: The positive cell number of β-catenin, cyclin D1 and PCNA increased was associated with the degree of malignancy of tumors. The differences of positive rate and expression level between the low-grade and high-grade tumors were statistically significant. In addition, the expression of β- catenin, cyclin D1 and PCNA was correlated well with each other. Conclusion:β-catenin overexpression may lead to the disturbance of cell cycle and proliferation.β-catenin may be one of the candidate to inhibit the cell proliferation in gliomas.
