Objective To investigate the relationship between 6-minute-walk distance(6 MWD)and the pulmonary function and CAT scale. Method A cross-sectional survey among 104 cases of COPD patients at stable stage were enrolled. All participants were examined with CAT score, 6-minute-walk test and pulmonary function test. Result The CAT score was (17.4±7.3), and the associations between CAT score, the pulmonary function and 6MWD were significant different (P〈0.05). Mild and moderate patients with COPD had high coincidence rate between CAT scale and 6MWD scale. Conclusion The CAT scale is reliable for the assessment of the quality of life. The CAT scale or 6-minute-walk test is suitable to evaluate serious and extreme serious patients with COPD.
