Recent studies indicate that a group of B cells, named as regulatory B cells(Bregs),had immune regulatory function. The regulatory function may be directly accomplished by the production of regulatory cytokines IL-10 and TGF-β and/or by the ability of B cells to interact with pathogenic T cells to dampen harmful immune responses. With further research about the relationship between Bregs and other regulatory immune cells,as well as their regulatory role in inflammation immune response of rheumatoid arthritis(RA),we can well understanding the function of Bregs, then provide new ideas of therapies for the treatment of RA.
