条码应用的进一步推广,对条码的信息容量提出了更高的要求.增大条码尺寸或增大条码密度的解决方案都有其局限性.文中在二维条码的基础上,设计了一种新的条码——三维条码.这种条码结合条空宽度变化、条空颜色变化和纵向排列来表示信息,能在有限的几何空间内表示更多的信息.文中先讨论了条码的编码技术,再对二维条码进一步扩展,提出三维条码,研究了三维条码的编码容量、差错控制等关键技术.最后研究了三维条码的识别技术,并给出一个三维条码的识别算法框架.
Because of its wider use, the bar code meets a need to encode significantly more data than conventional bar code. The way of increasing bar code size or the way of increasing its density has some limitations. A new type of bar code, three-dimensional bar code is designed in this paper. It greatly increases information capacity within limited space. It combines the variety of widths, the variety of colors and vertical array to provide significantly more information content. First, the encode technology of bar code is discussed in this paper. Then on the basis of two-dimensional bar code, three-dimensional bar code is proposed here. And some key technology of three-dimensional bar code is discussed, such as information content, error correction. At last, the recognition technology of three-dimensional bar code is discussed and the corresponding recognition algorithm is presented in the paper.
