随着显示技术的发展,立体显示由于其可以真实再现客观世界的特性而日益受到重视。文中介绍了一种平面兼容自由立体显示器的背光实现方案。以LED阵列作为可寻址背光组件,采用ATMEGA128单片机为控制处理器,在立体模式下,利用RS232接口实现与PC机人眼跟踪模块的实时通信,为不同位置处的观察者提供背光源;在平面模式下,利用PWM调光技术,通过单片机产生PWM信号,调节LED背光的亮度。采用LG-PHILIPSLM170E01液晶屏和两组256列的LED光源作为一个光源组进行实验,在屏幕前490~550 mm的位置处获得良好的立体效果,在屏幕前300~1000mm的范围内有良好的平面效果。
With the development of display technology,stereoscopic display is drawing more and more attention for its ability to reproduce the real world.This paper presents the backlight design of a 2D-compatible auto-stereoscopic display.Based on addressable LED arrays,the system uses ATmega128 for system control.In 3D mode,it uses RS232 interface to achieve real-time communication with the eye-detect module running on PC,providing light source for different observers.In 2D mode,the MCU generates PWM signals,regulating the brightness of the LED.Our experiment is achieved by use of LCD,LG-PHILIPS LM170E01 and two set of LED arrays.As a result,we get 3D view at distance 490~550 mm and 2D view at 300~1000 mm.
