以基于对象关系数据模型的时空数据模型STORM为基础,研究了在ORDBMS上进行时空数据库系统扩展的方法,并以中国历史地理信息为例,讨论了时空数据库在实际中的应用问题.实验证明,基于ORDBMS的时空数据库系统既可以实现时空数据的有效存储.又能够很好地支持前端时空应用的数据存取需求.
The extended approach to implementing spatiotemporal database system is investigated on ORDBMS. Our approach is based on the spatiotemporal data model called STORM, which is founded on the object-relational data model. Besides, the application of the spatiotemporal database system on a real spatiotemporal application named CHGIS is discussed. The experimental result shows the ORDBMS-based spatiotemporal database system can support both the effective storage of spatiotemporal data and the spatiotemporal data access of client spatiotemporal applications.
