The earthquakes of the reservoir area of lyzed. Combined with earthquake emergency pre-plan, Three Gorges during the reservoir impoundment are anapreparation and implementation during the reservoir irapoundment of the emergency plan are discussed. Based on the earthquake history during the impoundment and the emergency drills experiences, earthquake emergency work contents are discussed and analyzed in details to raise the timeliness and professionalism of the emergency workers＇ operation.
