The irrigation management system for the Shulehe Irrigation Area is good for the improvement of local water management. The design of the system is demand--oriented. The realization of irrigation functions and simple operations are the emphases. More attention is paid to the automation of routine duties. The function and workflow are closely coupled with reality, which makes the irrigation management efficient and secure. The portability and scalability are guaranteed by the implications of modular programming and Java programming language.
