Based on UDEC numerical simulation and in-situ strata control observation in 11208 working face in 2--2 middle seam in Lijiahao Mine located in central-southern Dongsheng Coalfield, the paper studies the overlying strata movement fracture law of shallowly buried work- ing face with thin soft bedrock and obtains the strata behavior rule of it. And it points out that there is short voussoir beam sliding instability in overlying bedrock of working face, and the weighting interval is shorter, and the periodic weighting in working face is strong under the influ- ence of impact load.
