Entecavir （ETV） is a new generation of nucleoside analogue with potent antiviral activity and low resistance, which is widely used in treatment of hepatitis B virus （HBV） -related chronic hepatitis, cirrhosis, acute and chronic severe hepatitis and other diseases. This article summarizes clinical applications of ETV for treatment in patients with HBV-related liver diseases.
