基于303家中国制造业企业调研数据,首先研究了探索式创新在环境扫描和新产品绩效之间关系中起到的中介作用,继而探讨了企业创新独占能力对这一机制的调节作用.研究表明:环境扫描与企业新产品绩效正相关,其中探索式创新起到部分中介作用;创新独占能力不但正向调节了探索式创新和新产品绩效之间的关系,而且增强了探索式创新的中介作用,存在被调节的中介效应.
Using survey data of 303 Chinese manufacturing firms, we first investigate the mediation role of exploratory innovation between the relationship of environmental scanning and new product performance, and also examine the moderation role of appropriability capability on this mechanism. Results show that, environmental scanning is positively associated with new product performance, and exploratory innovation partially mediates this relationship; appropriability capability posi- tively moderates the relationship between exploratory innovation and new product performance, and also enhances the mediation effects of exploratory innovation, and there exists a moderated mediation effect
