Guaranteeing the reading rights and interests of vulnerable groups is the value of mission and social responsibility of the modern library. Based on combing the characteristics of the different vulnerable groups in China, this paper analyzes the main causes of the realization of the reading rights and interests of vulnerable groups from three dimensions of reading subject, resource and environment. It can be concluded that guaranteeing vulnerable groups＇ reading rights of the library should adhere to 5 basic principles of humanity, integrity, subjectivity, openness and effectiveness, etc. And then, the paper puts forward 5 guarantee strategies of the reading rights and interests of vulnerable groups of the library, which is including cultural guarantee, resource guarantee, subject guarantee, system guarantee, and organizational guarantee.
