Based on the analysis of current situation of marine transportation of Beibu Gulf Economic Zone,this paper makes anticipation to its development potential and market demand through method of the Triple Smoothing Index,and proposes suggestions including transferring from tradition industry to modern one,from reginal competition to reginal cooperation,from decentralization to centralization,from small scale to large one,and from shallow water to deep water.
