There is disagreement between formal reason and dialectical reason in the research on the methodology of Western Economies. This contention is respectively reflected in the epistemology level and practical level of the research tradition in Marxist Political Economics and the methodology of Western Economics. The theory of Marxist Dialectical Materialism should play a more important role in ending the contention.
