深入了解癌症患者寻求专业性社会支持的真实体验，为医护人员帮助癌症患者增强寻求专业性社会支持的意愿和改善行为提供依据。采用质性研究方法，对某市2所三级甲等医院20例癌症患者进行个人深入访谈。运用内容分析法对访谈资料进行主题及副主题提炼。癌症患者向医护人员寻求专业性社会支持的体验主要包含4个主题：（1）医患双方医学素养存在差异；（2）医患信息不对称；（3）医护人员工作负荷重；（4）患者自身求助意识不强。因此，医护人员需要关注阻碍癌症患者寻求专业性社会支持的因素，并以此为依据制定改进措施，提升卫生服务质量。

英文摘要：

This study aimed to understand the experience of seeking professional social support among patients with cancer, and to provide references for health care personnel to help patients enhance intentions and improve behaviors of seeking professional social support. An in-depth interview was conducted among 20 patients with cancer from two tertiary hospitals. A content analysis was performed to extract themes and sub-themes. From the view of cancer patients, experiences of seeking professional social support included four aspects： differences in medical literacy between health care personnel and cancer patients; the information asymmetry between health care personnel and cancer patients; the heavy workload of health care personnel; and the lack of awareness of seeking help from health care personnel. Health care personnel should pay more attention to the barriers to help cancer patients seek professional social support, so that the appropriate interventions could be offered for cancer patients, and thus to improve the quality of health care services.
